Name The 2nd Book CONTEST!!

So I wrote a book called One Week Girlfriend…and I released it thinking, “Oh, lookee here, my book came out. Let’s see if anyone likes it. I’m sure it’ll take awhile and yeah, yeah eventually I’ll have to write the next book…”

Well. The book came out and y’all glommed onto it and now I’m writing the next book as fast as I can. But I have a huge problem.
I don’t know what to call it.
Aww, look at D+F. So cute.
So I’m leaving it up to you, my fabulous, awesome readers. The second book of Drew + Fable’s story desperately needs a title. Let me give you a few hints as to what this book is about:
Please leave your title suggestions in the comments. Leave your email address along with your suggestions too. That way I can email you if you’re the winner of the contest.

But what does the winner….win, Monica?
Oh, right. There’s a $20 Amazon gift card up for grabs for one commenter! Oh, and let me know in your comment if you’ve liked my Facebook page, followed me on Twitter, became a follower on my blog (look over there to the right) or added One Week Girlfriend to your Goodreads bookshelf. Because if you do all of that (or some of it, whatever’s your choice), you’ll get more entries! Contest closes Sunday, January 27th. Winner announced Monday, January 28th.
I’ll narrow the title suggestions to my top three favorites and we’ll vote for the winning title next week…with another fun contest involved! Yay!

More Teasing

This short but exhilarating ride so far has been so amazing…the response to ONE WEEK GIRLFRIEND just blows my mind. Seriously! Everyone who’s reached out to me, helped me, wrote reviews, rated it, hang out with me on Facebook, Twitter…I love you all so, so much.

And to show you just how much I love you, I’m going to give you a few hints as to what is going to happen next for Drew + Fable:

— Drew has to grovel to Fable a little bit (okay a lot)
— Drew has to deal with the bombshell that was handed to him
— Fable is offered a new opportunity that she can’t pass up
— Drew is offered a new opportunity that he can’t pass up
— Fable has a family crisis and she can’t handle it very well so someone needs to come and rescue her
— Hmm, I wonder who that could be?

Oh, and there’s another man who steps into Fable’s life. YES, another man. Not that this will be a love triangle, but this man will play interference…and make Drew incredibly jealous.

I do promise you this: The second book will be longer. Which means more time spent with Drew + Fable. I’m sure you’re all not complaining. *winks*

Oh and watch for a contest announcement on Wednesday! I’m going to ask YOU to help me name the second book…with an awesome prize! Come back tomorrow and see!

Drew’s Song for Fable + a Tease

So while I’m busy furiously scribbling and plotting and pondering and deleting, I have found a few songs that will now be forever associated with Drew and Fable’s second book (and I really need to come up with a title, don’t I? Sheesh, this is ridiculous). The song is kind of country-ish, and neither Drew or Fable listen to country (and neither do I) but it’s the words. The words are just…what Drew wants to say to Fable. He just has a hard time expressing himself.

Because let’s face it (and if you haven’t read One Week Girlfriend yet, **LOOK AWAY. SPOILER TIME**), Drew screwed up. He walked out. After everything she did for him, he left her. For a while, too (I don’t want to give too much away!). New opportunities have come into her life and now Fable’s trying to move on…

But guess what? Drew regrets what he did to Fable big time. And he wants her back. He’ll do whatever it takes to make her his. Face more demons, confront those who look down on them as a couple, be there for Fable during her time of need. Yes, lots is going to happen and wounds need to heal before these two find their happily ever after…

I’m such a tease…

The song is called Wanted and it’s by Hunter Hayes. Here are the lyrics:

You know I’d fall apart without you
I don’t know how you do what you do
Cause everything that don’t make sense about me
It makes sense when I’m with you
Like everything that’s green, girl I need you
But it’s more than one and one makes two
So put aside the math and the logic of it
You gotta know you’re wanted too
I wanna wrap you up
Wanna kiss your lips
I wanna make you feel wanted
I wanna call you mine
Wanna hold your hand forever
And never let you forget it
Yeah, I wanna make you feel wanted
Anyone can tell you you’re pretty
And you get that all the time, I know you do
But your beauty’s deeper than the makeup
And I wanna show you what I see tonight
When I wrap you up
When I kiss your lips
I wanna make you feel wanted
I wanna call you mine
Wanna hold your hand forever
And never let you forget it
Cause Baby, I wanna make you feel wanted
As good as you make me feel
I wanna make you feel better
Better than your fairy tales
Better than your best dreams
You’re more than everything I need
You’re all I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
And I just wanna wrap you up
Wanna kiss your lips
I wanna make you feel wanted
and I wanna call you mine
Wanna hold your hand forever
And never let you forget it
Yeah, I wanna make you feel wanted
Baby, I wanna make you feel wanted
Cause you’ll always be wanted
